This is my first week in the last 3 catching the show. I'll say straight off that thank god for this show. I was unable to see the LA game, and the new stadium today and thank goodness for this show.

    Allen Hopkins is black???

This show works great with actual news. Interviews with pundits, fans and other news briefs. Great great stuff. They did a great job pumping up and covering the HDC. MAN what an awesome day.

Great that they had a guest on set, they should do that eveyr week. Even though it was Fat Sigi, who looks pretty good in a suit, suprisingly.

this show would work so much better with a weekly quest or second analyst.

think thisis the first time i've remember seeing "real" commercials on the show, Radio Shack and the US Army. great sign.

show reall flies by when there's the opening of a SSS to cover...

Not bad! I really liked having Sigi on the show and the President's clip was priceless. I think you're right about having a guest every week. It broke up the routine quite nicely.

But the real highlight of the show was Bobby Convey running away with the Goal of The Week with a landslide 85% of the vote.

See, we really can make a difference in the show! ;)

My interest was held longer during this show...a good beginning but..

Until they actually show more highlights....I will continue to be disappointed.

A 2-1 loss for the Metros.

Clint Mathis hits the post in the 85th minute and they don't show it .... some Wrap... not even really a mention that his 5 game scoring streak is over.

If I can't watch the Metros game live, I have to tape it because I can't trust MLS Wrap to cover it properly.

I was at the match at Arrowhead and was surprised they didn't show that too.

Meola also made a save very close to his post that they didn't show.

absolutely a racist stereotyping but with that voice i was like whaaaaaaaaat? he's pretty pimp though with that beard and the suit. all those guys seem like they'd be pretty cool to hang around with.

Just another example the the brothers tryin' to keep the white man down ;)

I found out he's black during his fill in days for Max on the EPL show with Lionel.I like it because there is a Cuban/American(Max),a black guy(Allen) and the whitest man in America(Christian Myles).A good mix and a lot of flavor whenever they broadcast together.Add the occaisional Brit(Nick or Giles) and they are quite entertaining.I just hope that they can keep them together for a long time. They really seem to get along well.

Thought this was the best show yet. Yes, really big news that's covered well can go a long way. Sigi was a great addition, and I'll second the comments that studio guests and other interviews help to break up the Sean - John monotony and lovefest.

I almost didn't care that the highlights would make an anorexic look chubby. But next week I will care again when they fail to show a couple shots off the post or a crucial save--or when they fail to mention that an ejection was not a straight red.

I must admit that my hopes for a change in the lineup presentation were high when I watched the Crew - Quakes match on Fox Sports Bay Area. That broadcast featured a nifty graphic showing both player names and numbers and the formation of each team. Ah, surely they'll import that to MLS Wrap! Well, not this week, but I do think that presentation would be an improvement over the current one.

Keep up the good work. The league needs MLS Wrap.

I'm glad AH was in Japorea'02.Of all of their broadcasters,he seems to be the one that truly loves football the most.Max is entertaining and, like Allen, very knowledgeable of the current events around the game. But,you can just feel Allen's respect for the beautiful game in his broadcasts. He and Max are a Hell of a combo IMO.

With their almost identical voices I must say I'm not convinced Max and Allen aren't really the same person.

I noticed that when I was watching a game they did a few weeks back. It's quite strange to listen to.
