I know we'd like to keep the MLS and other non-Liverpool postings to a minimum, but I didn't want this one to be buried. Dallas defeated the Metrostars 3-0 in a pre-season match, and two of the goals came from none other than Paul Dalglish, King Kenny's son, who is on trial in my old home town. Interesting. http://www.mlsnet.com/games/03/tracker.php?gamename=03052003_DALMET&version=recap
To keep it closer to being an LFC-themed thread, we could rename this the "King Kenny's Kids" thread. Even more interesting . . . http://msn.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,15410-1027271,00.html ----
Blimey ... is that where he is now? Last I heard he was at Norwich, or something. Used to play for Newcastle when his Da' was in charge, of course. But never really got even close to making the grade.
March 4, 1951: Kenny Dalglish is born in Glasgow. (And there was much rejoicing.) Paul Dalglish was born February 18, 1977. ----
Re: Re: MLS with a twist of LFC... On March 6, 1964 Mark Adams was born in Liverpool and everyone said he's an ugly b*stard
Re: Re: Re: MLS with a twist of LFC... One cannot help the looks they were given at birth… It’s your sh1tty attitude I can’t take….
Re: Re: Re: Re: MLS with a twist of LFC... Yeh that got me an official warning at work last week, mouthy scouse bugger that I am, it does get me in trouble sometimes Note to self: Don't tell the boss, "you don't have a fucking clue, do you!"
Re: Re: Re: MLS with a twist of LFC... And I seem to be the only one to have noticed the significance of the date. Happy belated birthday, Kopite!
Last year he tried out with DC United, but we wouldn't meet his contract demands, so he signed with Wigan. He played well for a few games and then disappeared. I guess he was released or else he wouldn't be able to try out with another club. If you're not good enough to play for Wigan, I certainly don't want you on my team.
Re: Re: Re: Re: MLS with a twist of LFC... Thanks, next year I am not getting out of bed! 4-0, jesus!
