    Pigs Eye (St. Paul),
Ruiz is out this weekend due to yellow card accumulation, as is Quill. KC might be able to handle LA under those conditions. Serna hasn't been burning up the league, though he might be good for one good dive.

    Dallas at 6.50 is tempting.

Tonight I'll take dc on the road
    Saturday
LA, SJ, dc at home, and NE all to win. LA, SJ, and NE are the "Main 3".

Year to date I'm: 48-64; -$6.05 + fees. Yuck. On the "Main 3" I'm actually ahead $29.60. Longshots have not been kind to me this season.

Also consistent is my ability to get KC and NE games wrong - combined I'm 13-31 picking those two. The reason for KC should be obvious in my screen name. NE is a bit more problematic. At least you can use my picks as an anti-predictor and elliminate my pick. Oh well...did I mention I won over $200 last year?!?!

Where are you guys getting these numbers, and when and where are you betting (if you are)?

    Just curious.

I realize this is from a couple of weeks ago, but how do you read these numbers?

For example, the Metros/DC game on Thurs.

Metros 2.10 to win (bet $1, win $2.10). DC $3.40 to win (bet $1, win $3.40). $4.00 for a draw (bet $1, win $4 for a draw). Is that right? Or what am I missing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Flashman,

The numbers come from bettingadvice. They have an odds comparisson page where you can get the average prices and best prices from numerous online bookmakers. As for where I'm betting, I've had accounts with numerous different bookmakers in my quest to find the best deals. At present I am mostly using gamebookers and canbet, though that is certainly subject to change.

Sorry I didn't have time to post this week's prices. I started a new job this week which has kept me busy. I figured I should not indulge my online gambling habit at work during my first week on the job.

    Re: Re: MLS Week 27

That would only be true if you had an account with each of the 3 bookmakers offering those 3 prices. Those are the highest prices bettingadvice's oddschecker came up with for each outcome from several (usually 25-30 for MLS) possible bookmakers.
