Anyone know where you can go in Veags to watch MLS games and does anywhere in Vegas take bets on MLS games?
Who cares???? I'd rather use my money at one of the many Showgirls shows....or at some certain "ranches" on the outskirts of Vegas....
You can usually catch the games on ESPN2 at any sportsbook or bar. You may have to ask for one TV channel to be changed, but I have never been denied that request. You would have better luck at the craps table than trying to find a bar actually having the shootout package. Put $100 down on Dallas for me.
Betting on MLS games is like betting on pro wrestling: You are throwing away your money, since the deck is stacked by the people in charge ...
I asked at the Paris hotel sportsbook when I stayed their in April. They were taking bets on the World Cup, but not MLS.
I'm not sure if you can bet on MLS in Vegas, but you can bet on MLS games via the international sports bookmakers like William Hill. http://www.willhill.com/iibs/EN/buildcoupon.asp?couponChoice=FB218479 With a $4.50 payout on a $1 bet, it looks like the MetroStars might be this weekend's top pick.
ESPN Club You can watch MLS on Las Vegas at the ESPN Club. Is in front of the New York-New York. You can't miss it. The ESPN clubs have tv's everywhere and you can ask the attendant to put the game on a couple of them. Actually, that's better than watching them from your room. I did that at the ESPN club in Disney, Orlando, FL.
If I learned anything from the UNLV/Wisconsin game If you do bet on an MLS match and it looks like you will lose the bet, have some guy run a truck into a transformer 2 minutes before it is considered an official game by the bookies.
