Can anyone tell me what MLS's record against Premier League teams is? I couldn't find it on here in a post I read a while back. Thanks.

    Screw Mexico!

I think it's nearly even, as not many matches have been played (English teams dont like to play clubs that call it "soccer"). I'm sure DC has a 2-0 record against Blackburn

DC also beat Tottenham last year. They played Leeds United a few years back and I think they played to a draw but I'm not positive.

5/13/97 San Jose 1:1 Aston Villa
    5/14/97 Columbus 2:1 Leeds Utd
5/16/97 DC United 1:1 Leeds Utd
5/21/97 LA Galaxy 1:1 Aston Villa
    5/20/98 TampaBay 0:0 Leicester City
7/22/00 DC United 3:1 Newcastle Utd
    7/26/00 Columbus 2:2 Newcastle Utd

so until 2000 MLS holds a 3-4-0 over Premiership which isnt too bad

from MLSnet.com, but that page only went up to 2000...anyone else got better stats than that?

You left out, as most do, the Fire 1-0 Derby County from 1999, which is common, since a lot of people forget that Derby was a Premiership side then. I was picking them for the drop after that match, though, and they surprised me by staying up as long as they did.

Oh, and USAdude, you make us look like idiots when you put any kind of stock in friendlies. Please make it look like you've been around the game awhile and can keep things in perspective.

Unless of course you're really just one of those clowns from the BBC boards who is yanking everyone's chain by embodying the worst traits they always attribute to American fans, which judging by your Teams profile and the date you joined, you may very well be.

Could we recreate the results from 2000 to 2003 and put it up somewhere as a sticky?

This does get asked at least once a week.

Another one for MLS vs. MFL teams would be good as well.
