I no longer live in Denver, but am looking for a place to send family to watch MLS games on tv, not just Rapids games. Family friendly, someplace you would take your grandmother. The Grandmother lives in Littleton, but is willing to drive. Appreciate the help.

Some possibilities and issues/specifics (peak hours usually means Fri+Sat happy hours and high profile local team dates/times -- Avs & Broncos):

    1) Red & Jerrys. Rather negative on soccer fans so not an option during peak hours (Sat eve or other special events). Can be smoky a times but has video games and stuff to keep kiddies happy (OTB for adults). Games, pool, bar, restaurant, kids must be supervised (have an adult present), indoor golf game, banquet rooms (for a fee). Big enough that you can usually get a TV for soccer at off-peak hrs. Sometimes seedy for high profile horse events.

    2) Old Chicago locations (one on Broadway near Highwinds Rch -- probably others near them as well as one downtown). Again, you must avoid peak hours to watch soccer. This place tends not to be as ugly about soccer requests as R&J (usually willing). Very reasonable for families.

    3) Chopper's (Cherry Creek). Very UGLY with soccer fans but willing to show during off peak (have a separate room, too). Listed to pre-empt others listing as a good option...

    4) Champs (Park Meadows -- possibly one near them). Not as good for kids, but family friendly nontheless. Avoid peak.

    5) ESPNZone (downtown). Avoid peak hours. Same stuff as R&J (excluding OTB and no games geared for under-18).

    6) Dave & Buster's (Glendale). Same as R&J (except OTB). Avoid peak as with all others.

    7) Aztec Sol (West Denver near downtown). Really the ONLY soccer friendly place in town. Located near 32nd and Zuni which some people consider a semi-dangerous location so you may only want to go during daytime (depends how hearty you are -- I'd take my kids at any hour, but I also have raised my kids IN the Ratz Nest from age 6 up and I don't really call the Ratz Nest family friendly). No worries about peak hours here (except perhaps opposite Broncos games) as they prefer showing soccer. Mexican food, limited games, no kids menu that I'm aware of.

We'll see if anyone has any other suggestions.

Actually, if you're going to "take your grandmother", then really only Old Chicago, Champs (with Aztec Sol a BIG maybe).
