Come with me on a journey of pure fantasy, and imagine an MLS that looked like this: Revs: Blue shirt, white shorts, bright red socks Metrostars: Bold Red and Black striped shirts, black shorts, black socks DC: Black shirts, black shorts, white socks Crew: Yellow shirts, black shorts, yellow socks Fire: Red and white hoops, red shorts, red socks LA: Green and yellow hoops, green shorts, yellow socks KC: Sky blue shirts, white shorts, sky blue socks SJ: Blue shirts, black shorts, blue socks Rapids: Green shirts, green shorts, white socks Burn: Red shirts, black shorts, red and black striped socks Oh, and Detroit: Orange shirts, blue shorts, orange socks.
That's pretty much what they already wear. (OK, OK, they wear solid red socks, not red and black striped socks.)
What is wrong with the uniforms now? Are they not European enough? Granted some current uniforms might be quite bad, don't change them because they aren't Euro enough.
I would like to see two completely different colored kits. Do away with the blue/red/green/yellow or whatever kit for home and the white for the road. For example, right now the Galaxy(the best team in MLS) wears the green kits at home and the whites on the road. The Galaxy should(winners of MLS Cup 2002) have the BAW ( beautiful away white) as their primary kit and something totally different for their 2nd kit; sky blue and red or black and orange. That would be cool. www.lariotsquad.net
