The afternoon show on ESPN Radio (after the Dan Patrick Show) will be talking with Marc Connoly (sp) to talk about MLS Cup. They haven't mentioned a time yet. But will be this afternoon.
it is espn gameday with jack arute and mike crispino. i know they have had connoly on previously to talk about mls and the world cup, good to see they are going to talk about the mls cup, even if it is only for a few short minutes...
When they announced that Marc was going to be on in this afternoon, they made a couple of remarks. But didn't really bash it. Will be interesting to see what they say to Marc.
Sorry. Just some comments about soccer and advertising. Making fun of Jack Arute cause of the advertising of Europe vs Nascar. Marc coming up soon.
Marc will we on 6 o'clock Eastern time. One of the guys said MSL and then quickly corrected himself...saying he got flooded last time he made that mistake.
They just said he will be on at 6:00 Eastern time. This after saying misl instead of mls 3 times and laughing about it. It was kinda funny.
They also referenced MISL or "missile." It was kinda funny. At 3pm when they came on (central) they mentioned MLS Cup a bit but said something like 'as long as the soccer fans know there place.' Then one of the announcers ripped Jack Arute cause of his liking of Indy Car.
Know what place? I swear crap like this is so ludicrous it is beyond stupid. There is no other sport, not even cow tipping, that get's this type of stay your distance treatment - even if it is toungue in cheek it is annoying.

are you kidding...my drive to work is about 15 minutes in the morning b/c i go in early and miss traffic...and my ride home at night only takes about 30 minutes, it is a cake walk.
i hear ya, my friends from chicago love coming here and being able to drive from one side of town to the other in 25 minutes...it is refreshing for them...
