Here's hoping you all flame out this weekend so the rest of us can get back in the game... :D

Real Salt Lake is the obvious choice but we all know what happened the last time everyone went with the "obvious choice" of RSL (Chivas).

If we had gone with a 2nd round last week, I would have been out. Stooopid Chivas.

So I guess the trick this year is not to pick Chivas. ;)

Maybe a nice scoreless draw. That would end it, wouldn't it?

I guess so since we've both picked Salt Lake before. I don't know if you lose all 3 of them or all of the rest you have left.

If you've both picked RSL before and RSL draws this weekend v. Toronto, I believe (the way I understand the rules of the game) you would be toast. (A draw counts as 3 picks, and since you've already made 1 pick, you would therefore be over the limit; hence: toast.)

If lawrenceterp is out of town or something, you can just post your picks in this thread. (Or you could PM them to someone responsible like FlashMan or myself. You guys decide.)

I think it looks something like this (changes in bold):

    Remaining Players – Used Options
Atouk - Salt Lake (2), Chicago, New York, San Jose, FC Dallas, DC United (3)
La Barra Blonde - Sporting KC, Columbus, New York, Salt Lake (2), FC Dallas, DC United (3)

I don't mine posting in this thread. There's only 3 of us and we all tend to pick the same teams anyway.

12 games this week, so you'll probably have to specify the opponent you think will lose, and if you want, you can PM your answers to me, I don't think lawrenceterp will mind. (He's a nice guy, nice enough to send me his spreadsheet for the sheep game for me to run a few years ago too.)

In fact, I just noticed that bigsoccer will be down later tonight and possibly tomorrow morning, so if any of you three want to, feel free to PM your answers now.

    Colorado at New England
    Los Angeles at Seattle
    DC at San Jose
    Chicago at Chivas USA
    DC at Toronto
    Philadelphia at Seattle
    San Jose at Vancouver
    New York at Los Angeles
    Montreal at Kansas City
    New England at Salt Lake
    Columbus at Portland
    Colorado at Dallas

Sorry guys. Cleazer got everything right. For some reason I am not able to start a new thread so we'll use this thread again for Week 8.

There are many teams with multiple games this week. So make sure you also state your losing team when you pick your winning team.

Atouk - Salt Lake (2), Chicago, New York, San Jose, FC Dallas, DC United (3)
La Barra Blonde - Sporting KC, Columbus, New York, Salt Lake (2), FC Dallas, DC United (3)
RBA2010 - Salt Lake (2), Sporting KC, New York, Chicago, DC United (3), LA Galaxy (3)

    This week's games

    Colorado at New England
    Los Angeles at Seattle
    DC at San Jose
    Chicago at Chivas USA
    DC at Toronto
    Philadelphia at Seattle
    San Jose at Vancouver

It also won't let me send PMs right now. So if you guys can send them to me that would be great. If not, please post them in here for this week.

Make picks by 8 PM Eastern on Wednesday night.

I got no message, didn't look at this thread this morning since you've been starting new ones, and then BS went down. So I didn't send in a pick before the first two games kicked off tonight. My pick is Seattle to beat Philadelphia.

I *just* got back on since BS has been down all day and I have no clue what the games are since I was working late anyway.

    KC over Montreal.

For the record, I received an email from RBA2010 on Tuesday night (this may or may not have also been sent to lawrenceterp).

RBA2010: My pick is Seattle over philly

So that accounts for all 3 players.

Dammit Montreal. WTF? You beat the one of the top teams in the league at home? Did they field their U-6 team or something? Le sigh!

Good luck to the final 2!!
