I guess they sailed into Poland.

Overseas works for Britain and Ireland because they're islands. It doesn't really work for mainland countries.

Moreno hits the post on a PK and then Morata blows the follow-up. I'm torn with Poland. My wife is Polish and her family doesn't give a crap about soccer. Until Poland is playing in the World Cup and I'll I hear is Poland, Poland, Poland. They aren't Spain though so I guess "Go Poland."

I'm really torn between rooting against Lewandowski and rooting against Spain.

Absolutely rooting for Denmark to advance. 1-0 after a pretty goal from Damskaard.

Just need to see Belgium put 1 up against Finland to see Denmark move up to 2nd.

Yeesh. That's as close to an own goal as it gets without being one actually. Catastrophic back pass from the Russians. 2-0 Denmark.

Look at that hustle ... Denmark now up 3-1 .... dayum, make that 4-1!

Side question - will any other teams play must-win games in "home" stadiums ?

Wild series of saves and shots leading up to Denmark's third goal. Current results (them by two, Belgium ahead) and they go through.

Russia eliminated? That is so sad. I'd also be devastated if Hungary was eliminated.

England must be hoping for wins for France and Hungary, which would mean playing Hungary in the next round, I think.

I'm not watching, only monitoring the scores but Germany looks like they are in trouble.

And just like that Hungary goes full derp and Germany scores on a terrible free kick.

Edit: 3 seconds after I hit enter Hungary scored again.

Do I have this right? Germany is out of the tournament as things now stand?

    Still plenty of time.

France and Portugal can play for a draw. If Germany equalize they'll be behind Portugal on goals scored.
