Why don't you call one of them up and ask?

I thought the pay was more like in a strip club. I would've sworn I heard the PA guy saying the staff was only working for your tips, so get those singles out.

Right $2.57 is their base pay. Real money comes from tips... Table dances being the best money.

Are we talking about the office staff, or the wizards girls?

MLS is where the money's at.

Ok, it's not, I lied. I bet the PR people make next to nothing.

The front office people make different money depending on what they do. I would say most team administrators make between thirty and forty grand with the same coming true for equipment managers. I think lots of things come into play here including duration with team, which team, and cost of living in the area.

Thats just a figure I think you can start with.

I know the salary in general is low, but it also depends on who the owner is and what area the team is in. Also take into consideration that most of the staff for these teams are interns or freelance contractors.

I thought the wizards girls were all players. This thread is about STAFF wages.

I don't think anyone working for the league is maximizing their salary potential - they really try to work the "love of the game/doing something you enjoy" angle as a way of getting people to accept a bare minimum for their services.

I would be shocked if an equipment person was as high as $40k.

I worked in the front office for the Quakes a few years ago, I was making $28k when I left.

Which I think is why you see a lot of turnover in MLS offices.
