With some members of other sporting leagues getting busted...I think the MLS should boast their image with some slogans....

    Grass...kick it, don't smoke it...
Grass, it's meant to be played on....

Besides for the catchy slogans...why??? I think public support for the US war on drugs isnt that strong as it is. I think the MLS could use its time and resources to go after something that isn't so politicaly charged.

It seems totally pointless. Doesn't FIFA have a major anti-drug policy/campaign already that MLS and all the other leagues follow?

Maybe they should get behind promoting the legalization of some drugs? They would probably gain more fans that way

Can you imagine the change in demographics of soccer fans if MLS announced they were supporting the cannabis movement?

Maybe MLS will follow the example of the last European Cup where organizers stated they prefered to have fans smoking pot in the stands that a bunch of drunks and would turn a blind eye to pot smoking..;)

De-crimanalize would be good. Actually after those first round NFL candidates were interviewed saying they used pot, most analyst agreed that a lot of college students try it or use it periodically. I bet pot will go mainstream in the near future. I'd rather hear of an athelete catching a buzz of pot and being a drunk...or doing cocaine.

"Grass...soccer players use it as recreation":D

I think the Galaxy's shirt sponsor definitely falls into that category. Just add two leaves more...

I was watching a match from Holland a few years ago and one of the sponsors on the sideline boards was Zig Zag Papers..
Never seen them as a shirt sponsor but maybe someone has..;)

I heard that most MLS announcers are on drugs.

    Or should be.

I smoked up before the DCU - Chivas game. I smelled weed at halftime in the RFK tunnel directly behind Barra Brava, and on the way to the parking lot after the game.
