I understand that each year might be different, but does anyone know if WOW carried MLS Shootout Package on WOW Cable network in Columbus/Gahanna last year (2002 season). The reason is that I am thinking about switching to WOW, but I am wondering if I will miss the package. Thank you in advance.
if you want the shootout on cable, I believe you gotta go with Time Warner Digital (cost per month is about $50 + 1 time shootout fee). Other than that, it's Dish or DirecTV. And i've heard DTV is supposed to be the "better" provider this year. TWD also has FSW, which has been rumored to have a few MLS games this year.
righthalf, I am assuming that you are in the Insight territory for cable. Give them a call. If they don't know the answer right away, chances are someone will know. I believe that shootout package will be on Insight.
Thank you everyone for the info. I decided not to change the Cable from Time Warner to WOW, and the reason is that WOW does not have FSW. (Who could live without Premiership soccer?) However, I go ahead getting the cable internet from WOW. (The advertised speed of TW and WOW is 2 Mbps and 1.5 Mbps respectively, and the price is 44.95/mo and 39.99/mo respectively.) Thanks again.
You might be right Andy, but one doesn't get to choose between Time Warner and Insight. The only cable option is WOW, which I would have purchased except they don't have FSW (or if they do, it only has been in the last three months).
And that, is a crime. When I have moved from one place to another, I always ask who provides the cable service, and if it is Time Warner, it makes that apt complex a little more attractive to me
