  2. Am I missing something here??
    The Mlsnet.com article says Yahoo has been the Official Sponsor of MLS since 1999!!
    And yet, when you click on the link for their home page, that page has direct links to all major sports in the US except for MLS!!
    There is a direct "World Soccer" link also, but you would have to scroll all the way to the bottom of that page to link-up to MLS.
    Their last direct link is labeled "More...", and voila... that's where you have to click to bring you to another page that shows the actual link to the MLS page!

    This, from an "Official Sponsor of MLS" ???

    sponsor -> adversiting; website -> sports news/info.

    Whatever. There's a difference between being a sponsor and being a provider of news. MLS isn't signifcantly newsworthy or popular enough to rate a front page link. Fine. They sponsored the World Cup too. Is there a permanent link to that? Nope.

    Besides, if you're already at sports.yahoo.com, hasn't Yahoo gotten what it wants out of you?

    And let's be cool here - they've got MLS matches on their Platinum service. Yahoo's been pretty damn good to and for MLS.
