This MLS season was exceptionally good but still not up to international standards. I have an idea about how to make the league more exiting and better: 1.The league gets expanded to ten teams in both conferences 2. After the regular season the best teams in each conference play playoffs for the title wile the worst teams play against relegation to the A- League. 3. The best teams in the A- League get promoted to MLS. 4. An Eastern Conference team can’t play against a Western Conference team until the final.
Wait a minute, guys. Ease up on the insults. This guy has got some groundbreaking ideas here. Please, tell me more about this, how did you put it, relegation? Where did this idea come from? I don't know, it sounds kind of complex to me. I think you need to go into further detail. I would like to get your thoughts about a tie breaker idea that I have. I like to call it the "shootout"........
I'd rather have a beer. I have finished all my shopping and I'll be making Guiness Ice Cream tonight!
I like it... the ideas are rolling in guys dont let this thread stop. I hope MLS is taking notice. What a great thread.
They need to take the computers out of the equation. What do they know about football? How can you have a national title game without the #1 team? It makes no sense. MLS has to be reformed now! And yes, cheese would go quite nicely just about now. Fight On!
How about a halftime show at MLS Cup? I'm thinking an up-and-coming teen pop sensation. A few years ago, maybe we could have had--oh, I don't know--Christina Aguilera?
Beer does sound good, and I will be having some stout tonight meself. Not Guinness though. I was wondering CUS, do you just add the beer to the cream or do you reduce it first to really concentrate the flavor??
I don't have the recipe off-hand, but IIRC reduce the beer, heat the milk cream, sugar vanilla bean, whisk into the egg yolks, heat again, cool, add the Guinness reduction, into the ice creamer. Eat.
