The numbers below are for the full playoffs (except 2008, which is to date):

    Year Average Median %<10K %>20k
    1996 16739 15812 25.0% 33.3%
    1997 12563 12180 25.0% 0.0%
    1998 15278 13128 15.4% 23.1%
    1999 ----- ----- --.-% --.-%
    2000 10274 10133 50.0% 6.3%
    2001 11227 10419 35.3% 5.9%
    2002 10906 9561 56.3% 6.3%
    2003 13776 14716 10.0% 10.0%
    2004 12771 11546 30.0% 10.0%
    2005 13709 12141 20.0% 10.0%
    2006 14454 15298 30.0% 20.0%
    2007 17807 16244 0.0% 20.0%
    2008 14961 13148 12.5% 12.5%

These numbers exclude MLS Cup, since we're gauging interest for games that aren't "pre-scheduled". For some reason 1999 attendance isn't on MLSNET.

The Andy Quoefficient of 2008 thus far:
    4th of 12 for average
    5th of 12 for median
    3rd of 12 for <10k
    5th of 12 for >20k

    AAQ: 4.25

As expected a large increase from leg 1.

The best we can do in 2008 (assuming Columbus and Rio Tinto sell out):

    Avg: 16224 (3)
    Med: 16015 (2)
    <10: 10% (2)
    >20: 30% (2)

    AAQ: 2.25

Pretty much in line with our regular season.

Too bad we won't be able to help those numbers next week.

Rio Tinto might be a sell out, not sure about the Crew though.

Also note that the 3 top drawing teams in MLS are not in the playoffs,
    LA, DCU and TFC.

Adjusted with Lawerenceterp's numbers (although I adjusted by taking out the MLS Cup Final attendance)

The numbers below are for the full playoffs (except 2008, which is to date):

    1999 14167 13816 26.7% 13.3%
    2000 10274 10133 50.0% 6.3%

The Andy Quoefficient of 2008 thus far:
    4th of 13 for average
    6th of 13 for median
    3rd of 13 for <10k
    6th of 13 for >20k

    AAQ: 4.75

I still think we're going to end up around 2-3, which is pretty outstanding, especially considering with what one poster already said: No DC, No LA, No TFC.
