Hi I'm Chris Hansen. Next on Dateline when a former ASU student flunked spelling he got 18 years in prison. "When she said she had a pet rock, I thought it was a miner being funny. I didn't realize it was a 12 year old minor until I showed up with a 4 pack of Seagrams Wine Coolers and a roofie", the former Sun Devil pined.

    :p

I'm not sure, although I think the original poster could have limited the number of examples. This is what I found.

Doesn't mean he can't have a good idea, it just means he wasn't thinking when he picked his favorite team. ;)

NEW Zealand's A League soccer franchise is to be known as Wellington Phoenix FC.

A Owner Terry Serepisos unveiled the name tonight.

Serepisos, who fronted with more than $NZ1 million ($A888,800) to ensure the franchise's existence after Football Federation Australia (FFA) withdrew a licence from the previous Auckland-based franchise, said he had been overwhelmed by the public response.

The public came forward with more than 250 possible names for the new franchise, which was narrowed down to six.

"Phoenix took my eye and has stayed with me. It symbolises the fresh start, the rising from the ashes and the incredible Wellington support that has come out," he said.

A concept logo featuring the bird and the words has been revealed, with the Wellington colours of yellow and black prominent.

He said FFA would sign off the image before a formal release and it would become the cornerstone of franchise branding and marketing.

I just saw a website for the Chingaderos. Sounds good for an unoffical name. Maybe we could steal Ching from the Dynamo. ha ha
