Showed both the goals that were scored and the red card by Heaps. No snide remarks, it was pretty cool.

Boy,the network sure deserves an ESPY award, just for that alone. We are on the map now. No Football and Baseball players were at police custody to make news,I guess.

now, if we could only get them to show some playoff games on espn, the possibilities would be endless...

So let me see if I get this straight. If ESPN broadcasts the game, the highlights do not appear on Sportscenter, but if they do not broadcast the game, the highlights do get shown on Sportscenter.

Of course that's completely insane, but what can ya do?

I think this is an interesting question. What is better for MLS? ESPN showing games OR covering them on Sportscenter religiously?

I'll wait a bit to divulge my opinion.

It would be nice if they showed the whole playoff games rather than just the goals.

  7. I guess Scott Van Pelt wasnt on.

John Andersen and Linda Cohn. It would be nice if they showed the whole game, but at least now the average sports fan knows that L.A. is in the final and that New England leads the first to 5 series 4-1. (though they probably have no idea what a first to 5 series is)

if we are doing time buys, why is it espn's fault that we didn't time buy for every single game?

am i missing something, or are you guys?

if guess we can all just go by the rule of "there are no rules"

that way we can be surprised and dissappointed at the same time, all the time!!

i don't see how anyone would care to watch a couple of goobers cover a couple of highlites instead of getting to see the whole game itself.

whosever fault it is that more of the games aren't on television doesn't matter, it's still us fans who miss out. and that sucks.

Finally all my hard work is paying off. Me, some friends, and many people from Big soccer emailed Sportscenter every single day for about a month now asking them to show the MLS, I guess it worked!!!!

lets hope they keep it up.

Let me sing you a song:

Cheer up, Brian. You know what they say.
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
    Don't grumble, give a whistle!
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
    And...

(the music fades into the song)
...always look on the bright side of life!

    (whistle)
Always look on the bright side of life...
    If life seems jolly rotten,
    There's something you've forgotten!
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing,
When you're feeling in the dumps,
    Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing!
And... always look on the bright side of life...

    (whistle)
    Come on!

    (other start to join in)
Always look on the bright side of life...

    (whistle)
    For life is quite absurd,
    And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow!
Forget about your sin -- give the audience a grin,
Enjoy it -- it's the last chance anyhow!

So always look on the bright side of death!
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
    Life's a piece of ************,
    When you look at it.
    Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true,
    You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you!

And always look on the bright side of life...

    (whistle)
Always look on the bright side of life
