Twenty-eight games in all. All i can say is WOW! Thanks MLS and Mark Cuban! http://www.hd.net/mlsinhd.html
So how does this work? Do they shoot with their own cameras, and have their own guys calls the games? The good thing is that it looks like its almost every Sat night, so people can get into a habit of watching it if they flip by HDNet on Sat nights.
Man, does this excite me. If you haven't seen a sporting event in high-definition, you will have to check out these games. I recommend going to a local store when the games are on--HDNet is kind of a demo channel/pet project of Mark Cuban, so it's frequently on the floor models. Plus, you can expect the games to be retransmitted frequently. There isn't a lot of HDTV out there yet, and frankly, I think this was made possible by ESPN-HD taking all of the baseball HDTV rights away from HDNet, who then had a big hole to fill. According to the press release on the front page of MLSNET, Glenn Davis will be calling the games, with Marcelo Balboa as color commentator. All in all . . . SWEET!
