Will there be a player or players on both rosters? I’ve heard that some NP players have trained with first team this week

Same thing happened with the LAFC doubleheader a few weeks back - Buck only played the 1st half of the NP match, then sat on the bench with the 1st team (but didn't enter). Sure seems like it might be a good time to call up a forward and a #10 to backfill Timo and Niko. In the latest Quakes 2 training photos I don't see Mendoza...

I took another look at the public transit options for USF, and it's pretty not great. It's about an 80 minute walk from CalTrain and probably an hour walk from the closest BART. I know there are buses also but those are gonna be pretty slow too. I might be crazy enough to take Caltrain and do the walk sometime but not sure.

From BART, take the #5 bus from Market Street. From Caltrain, take the N-Judah to Stanyan Street, near Kezar Stadium, and then it's about a mile walk.

Great, thanks! I don't think I've ever taken local SF public transit. Time to start I guess.

There's always Waymo too I guess.

Back in the day, I used to take buses a lot, but now it's Waymo/Lyft/Uber. Sometimes walking is fastest, but not if you're going north of GG Park.

I use those only as a last resort because 1) I can be very cheap and seems like $15 even for a relatively short trip these days, and 2) trying to be as environmentally friendly and anti-congestion friendly as I can be.

I would set up the Waymo (they are 100% electric FWIW) app just in case though. The return leg could be bad if the transit connections don't line up - though at least Caltrain has weekend service every 1/2 hour now.

After a lengthy and mysterious absence...Montali is back! Which probably means Crockford is on the bench tonight, and that he has leapfrogged Montali. Interesting.
