I think it’s unlikely that team captain Alejandro Cano will play in this game. He will be at LAFC’s BMO Stadium at 1pm for El Salvador’s friendly against Qatar the day before this match. If he doesn’t feature in the friendly then perhaps, if he plays on Saturday then I don’t see the Quakes letting him play on Sunday in San Francisco. Maybe on the bench as a late game sub.

Might play Alex Ling in his place or maybe even Floriani. Alex Ling has started to get minutes and has done well. I think he's going to Stanford next year.

I think DeGeer would start Floriani if he’s available. Since the first team is off for a while I suspect that more 1st teamers will be assigned to NextPro duty to stay sharp.

Good game for Quakes II. Brace for Donnery, and an assist! Another goal for Tomo Allen on really like the only service he had all game. And what's gotten into Jermaine Spivey!? I always thought he was terrible, but suddenly he's looking good this year, almost like his brother. It's like he watched his brother and just said, oh yeah, I can do that. Had an assist and a number of good attacking plays.

Also a very good game from former Cal GK Connor Lambe. And yet another very good game from Heisner (not Eisner), the former University of Pacific defender. He's been playing mostly RB, but he played RCB today and was as solid as he's been at RB. Very good closing speed. There was a guy who had eluded De Flores on the left wing, Heisner was behing De Flores, about 10 yards behind the attacker as he raced down the sideline. Heisner made up the ground and made a clean tackle and knocked the ball safely out of bounds. I hope Bruce and company are watching (probably not). I think Heisner could be a better RCB than Floriani and possibly even a better RB than Jasinski.
