I watched the end of Portugal v Chile. Suffice it to say I'm not impressed with Portugal at all. Yes, it's a friendly and they won 2-1, but all goals were scored after it became 10 v 10 and if Chile wasn't so bad at shooting, the result would have been very different (obviously).

Based on this performance I definitely wouldn't have Portugal among the favourites.

 

and now I prepare for the women in Brazil. Preparing for the World Cup against this Brazilian team is going to be interesting.

 

Ronaldo has to be coming off the bench or Portugal is going to go out

Went to the Morocco-Norway match at Red Bull. Morocco's defense is just so solid, at least with the starters in the game. Good show by their fans, although I guess it's a sign of the primacy of the club game that a lot of them cheered Haaland and Ødegaard during the intros.

 

Morocco are deservedly a top ten team. Fourth in the last World Cup and African champions.

Why would you stop at eight? It's not like there's a game left with three players on the field.
