According to USMNT Twitterverse if US didn't have MLSers we would've won that game easily 10-0. Miles did mess up big time though but it's not like we haven't seen that from Euro guys before.

 

The other Robinson gave the ball away leading to the first Senegal goal.

 

It doesn't fit the narrative.

 

Pretty solid game. I checked the USMNT thread at halftime and of course one player in particular was taking all the blame.

 

Haiti over New Zealand 4-0, they aren't gonna get to pick on CONCACAF this year.

 

I know New Zealand isn't good but that's a shocking result.

They beat the Ivory Coast last year, tied Norway in October, beat Chile by 3 in March, and have one-goal defeats to Colombia, Poland, Australia, and Ukraine, and then they go and lose to Haiti by four? Has Haiti beaten anyone besides a Caribbean side by that kind of margin this century?

Edit: No. Their last (and only other) 4-goal win against a non-CFU opponent was a 5-1 home friendly win against Canada in 1973.

 

Over 16,000 at a pre World Cup friendly in Florida between two outsiders is pretty good.

 

It was a good atmosphere with the Haitian fans. I expect they'll have strong support during the tournament but it's a shame they didn't get a Miami game.

Panama beat the Dominican Republic 4-2, they are going to give up a lot of goals at the World Cup.

Also Panama ruined football by having a halftime show.

 

They got to half time without conceding then swapped out half the team.

 

They started a completely different XI than against Brazil a few days ago, they had more of their likely WC starters on the field in the second half against the DR.
