This team hasn’t been good for more than a decade. Started going downhill after the World Cup game where Belgium would’ve beaten us by 5 if not for Tim Howard, hasn’t really recovered since.
I really hate the “our A team would’ve won!” thing when we haven’t seen an A team in the Gold Cup since the Michael Bradley era. USMNT has been testing my patience for the last couple years.
1942023765723844863 is not a valid tweet id From our CBS Rules Expert @ChristinaUnkel : No handling - wouldn’t fall under deliberate as he was already falling and naturally bracing before the ball popped under his hand. There was no secondary movement towards the ball or moving the ball so will be considered non-deliberate

Maybe Barstool should read the LOTG and the clarifications before writing an article. Oh wait, that would require Barstool to actually show some journalistic integrity, something they've never been accused of.
As a former bartender at my parent's tavern and as a customer, I can attest that many, many people who occupy barstools think they know everything!
England vs. Italy in the women’s Euro solidified my thoughts on two things: 30 minutes of extra time is too much and regular penalties should be one and done with no live ball rebound opportunity.
Unless it isn’t. Like in a shootout. Which is what the post you’re responding to suggested all penalties should be treated like.
I like rebounded penalty goals. I think they’re fun to watch. But, I’m in favor of goals more than most people in these threads.
Canada with the rather easy 3-0 win over 48th ranked Romania in Bucharest. The Romanian manager looked pretty shellshocked at the final whistle. Next up is Wales in Swansea.
Second goal was a pretty awful GK error for Romania. And Crepeau did great to keep a clean sheet, along with Romania not being very accurate in front of goal. Canada still deserved the win, but 3-0 is a harsh outcome for Romania.
