You could have posted the bolded alone and been more correct. We should have moved on straight after the World Cup, IMO.

 

1H thoughts;
An MLS player has Canada up by 1 thanks to a pass from a USMNT European player. USMNT isn't losing by at least 3 thanks to saves from another MLS player.

 

This does not make me feel bad.

I'm watching Eastern Michigan - Washington instead of this. Even if the Dawgs weren't on I'd probably be watching one of the Caribbean Nations League games.

 

LOL Good one. With all seriousness, I am glad. But the notion that things would magically be 180 degrees different as soon as he was gone was always a puerile idea. Rome was not built in a day. Some people just did not get that though.

 

Which is what I am doing. I am watching my other nation -- The Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis -- totally BOSS the Cayman Islands! Let's go, Sugar Boyz!!!!!

That was fun, especially having some unexpected faces involved.

 

They’ve moved on. Probably the same roster Berhalter would have named and they’d be screaming about the MLS inclusions. Screaming about this or that. Instead they got the blood they’ve craved and are probably back supporting their favorite shades of European red or blue.

Not realizing this group has stagnated and won’t do much better under Varas or even Poch (if he’s still interested) They haven’t solved the striker problem. They haven’t solved the CB questions and the pipeline leaves questions.

I'm noticing Dominica is winning late. If they hold on then all 3 of my Caribbean kit collection (Anguilla, Saint Lucia, Dominica) will have pulled off victories in this window.

(All 3 kits are made by Stimulus Athletic which sells them rather inexpensively as national team kits go)

I watched the first half of Belize vs. Turks and Caicos. The announcer spoke so infrequently we'd forget he was there.

Bombito too. But I see USMNT fans already blaming Ream and calling him finished (he is) cause "MLS" for less than a month. And many fans were penciling him in for 2026 cause "Europe".
