That was quite a bit of stoppage for the stoppage, but it really comes down to a horrible job of killing the game.

Notably, there were USA chants and then the other chant followed.

 

Shouldn’t count, ref should have stopped the match for the chant.

 

You're not supposed to hump the ball straight to the opposing keeper. Dribble it or put it in the corner (or for the more advanced, fall over).

Kind of seriously, if Sunil was still in leading USSF, wouldn't there be a push to have him step down at this point after the last ~2 years for mens and women's soccer.(I know that this isn't actually their job and there are now others technically responsible for it) The Olympics have been good for the WNT, but US Soccer ain't actually killing it when it comes to working well with the various youth orgs and the USOC is still kind of a mess. Shouldn't Cone be getting some push back for the general USSF direction?

 

Bit of an over-reaction to a bad performance against Panama.

 

Morocco just slapped Egypt so hard for the bronze that the US performance is no longer the worst in the tournament. This Morocco team is actually straight up really really good!
