You can pretty much credit that PK to ROlfe again. Great touch and thread into the box to a player going forward.

    That didnt take long.

    Edit: bummer, missed PK

You've gotta admit, EL GUZANO will be one hell of a great goalkeeper for the United States. And probably sooner than later.

My grandmother could have made that save, but other than that Guzan has looked good if unspectacular.

Yeah, but there's a reason Guerrero took the second PK against you guys on Wednesday.

Amen to that. He is why my wife and I watch Chivas games - well, that and a perverse joy at them losing. We just like Guzan to keep it close.

Your grandmother must be a very good goalkeeper.

I think Barrett needs to be up and ready to go soon.

I don't know what it would have done otherwise, but I'm pretty sure the Chivas defender got a foot on it to deflect it...

WTF did Perez do to get a red card?

Barrett to be on for Chicago now...

Hmm... missed whatever Perez did there, but he's gone. Red Card.

Edit: Man, pretty nasty there with the step on Rolfe.

I know we're tired and missing some key guys but our offense really looks bad tonight after having scored 7 goals in the last two games. We're creating scoring chances left and right but wasting all of them. The crappy PK by Marsch was just icing on the cake. Luckily, Chivas's A team is not better than our B team.

Oh wait, Capt. Headband just got justifiably sent off for stomping on Rolfe. There's hope for our offense yet.

GOAL!!!!! Segares almost instantly after the sensding off.

    Segares!!! Goal, 1-0!

Curtin with a nice assist into the middle, and within seconds the man advantage pays off. :)

That was awfully close to offside. Another replay would be good, but it was close.

Segares is just huge. I love that guy.

Wow, the Fire score off a set piece! Marsch to Curtin across the goalmouth to Segares. Beautiful. Thank you, Orlando Perez!

Wow. What a five minute string of oddities. Marsch whiffing so badly that it made his PK attempt look good. Guerrero charging up the right impressively. A red to Orlando Perez that is tough to really see (maybe it is a later red for the afro he sported while playing for you). Then, a masterful pass by Jim Curtin to Segares on the free kick. 1-0, Fire.

Most he's brought to the Fire in a long time.

    Barrett in.

Segares goal: a GOTW shot off the thigh. :)

That's a legitimate card in my mind. Looking at the rules of the game, it fits under the red card requirements quite nicely.

Barret for the unimpressive Reiter sounds goods to me. At least Dave didn't bring on a defender so we could bunker. Maybe he has learned something after all.

Somebody needs to send the Honduran Federation and coach a thank you letter for letting Guerrero stick around for this game. He has been fantastic.

Yeah.. I typed that before they showed the replay. Definitely a good call (or just Perez being a freaking klutz)...

I don't think Sega could be offside because Curtin's pass looked pretty even straight across to me.
