Sorry if this is posted anywhere else, couldn't find it.

Last week on one of the MLSnet.com weekly columns (not Bradley's First XI but one of the other two) it was mentioned that the makers of Championship Manager might possibly be bringing a version to the US that included MLS, maybe as early as this spring.

Does anyone out there know anything more about this? It would be cool to take United to the MLS Cup championship game from the sidelines.

    Thanks for any help.

There already is a playable MLS in Champ-man.

And in CM4, the MLS system will be featured, as opposed to the CM3 versions where clubs operated in the same way they do in other leagues.

Thanks. Next question: where does one purchase Championship Manager 4 (when it is released) in America? Is there an internet site? Thanks for any help here.

There has been some sort of rumor/sort of SI endorsed rumor that in late April/early May. SIGames will have a MLS-endorsed version to sell in the USA. Once again only a rumor (Ithink only a rumor) but I beleive it's been quoted on sigames.com.

    thanks

The MLS league in ChampMan will be far better than it was in CM3. The draft will be in there I believe, as well as many of the MLS regulations. The A-League and D3 Pro League will be playable as well. This will be awesome as the American leagues finally get some respect.

wait until after they've rated the players mate. Once you see who they'll rate as the US' best player (probably Donovan) and other players who are good (Mathis, DMB, Quaranta, Stewart, Hejduk, Olsen, McBride, etc).

It's going to be very interesting to see the A-League and the D3 Pro League in the game. I tried to do both leagues this summer and let me tell you that if they can pull those off, I will buy the game.

Frankly though I am more excited about my own game, I have to advertise as much as possible here. :) My pride and glory is MLS Expansion Mode, where you get to manage a new MLS team to glory in their first season. In the full version if that's not enough 18(+?) different countries will be represented in full. US Soccer Manager http://www.stattosoftware.com

    Shooter6065,

Does Special Reserve have a website you can send me to? Tried the www.sigames.com site but didn't see anyway for a Yank to order it.

    Re: dumb question

Its being released for computers, not game machines. (Though they did make a CM3 for XBOX)
