    Maybe the league removed it as part of the new CBA. I do remember that the salary guarantee deadline was one of the sticking points for the players.
    Another sign that a new CBA may be closer to completion?

    Could be. The players want all salaries guaranteed. The league might want to create some other status then, such that if a team cuts or waives a player before a certain date, that they free up that cap space for the rest of the season, even though the player gets paid no matter what.

    We'll see. It could be one less date that JD and Frank have to screw up!
