MLS goal #10,000 & DCU goal #1000

    Haven't yet seen this on this board...so in the not-terribly-significant-but-still interesting department:

    The MLS goal total is sitting at 9,999. The next goal scored will be number 10,000. The next games are DCU-NYRB and SKC-Chivas. Both kick off at 7:30 ET on Saturday.

    Also, as of the June 29th DC United's goal total was 996, and we have since scored twice bringing it to 998. With two goals United will become the first MLS team to score 1000 goals.

    Let's score first against the Pink Cows to get MLS goal #10,000 and then another to get DCU goal #1000!

    Just to update:

    For Regular Season Goals by Teams, as at Jun-30, 2013, L.A. are leading the pack with 854 goals, just 2 more than D.C.
