Yeah, paperwork. Heard Pablo say he might make it back in town for the last practice or so. Definitely didn't expect him to start.
We'll see about it when we're playing in the international window in Sept. Crazy that it was mandated by FIFA. Between the WC stuff and watching that documentary, they could create world peace tomorrow and I still don't know if I'd change my opinion of that organization.
Here's our team tonight: Cabral Quinton Glad Engel Gozo Caliskan Spierlings Katranis Luna Solans Guilavogi Bench: Stajduhar; Yedlin, Junqua; Ruiz, Dillon, Marczuk, Booth; Herzakhani, Olatunji
Quinton has been so good to start the season. hate to see him lose his starting spot just because of a minor injury during warmups
That's a hillllllarious goal. Luna wasn't even really in a good position to get that, though him pressing was good (and again, something most other USMNT players don't do).
That's the first time I've seen us burned in 2026 the way we often were in 2025. No d-mids back, one of the three defenders pushed up, no way to handle all three attackers.
This is a giant leap Forward in soccer in my opinion from last year to this year. Watching this match is just so enjoyable.
Guilavogui will score soon. He misses about as many as Agada did last year, but differently. One inspires confidence, the other really never did.
Interesting to see the commentary wonder if Gozo somehow makes the US team. I don't think it happens, but he'd be solid off the bench
