Going through a little thread creating withdrawal so what the heck.

The US will be coming off a legendary result and soccer fans will be fired up for one reason or another. People will be clamoring for some good ole MLS futbol. It will be glorious.

RSL will be basking in the glow of a new DP as the transfer window opened up the week prior and their guy is ready to rock and roll!

Should be fun. See you then.

We're going to lose. Following Caliskan's emergency call up to the German national team, breakout performance, and subsequent sale to Arsensal, Eneli steps up but ultimately fails to meet the quality hole left in Noel's absence. We get to see Son score 4 golazos, though, so that's nice.

Nail on head. Son doesn't score all season but gets 4 on RSL to open his 2026 account. I dig it.

We are less than a week away from the 2026 MLS Season for RSL getting back into high gear with the game against LAFC followed by Portland and St. Louis all in a row. All in a week.

The starting lineup will probably look much like the starting 11 for the Kealia debacle.

    Rafa
    Yedlin, Quinton, Engle
    Gozo Juanma
    Luna Caliskan Spierings Morgan
    Solans

Justen Glad must still be weeks away or he would have been in the 18. He didn't practice a week or so ago in the team scrimmage.

I don't think we will see much different from what we saw against Burnley and all season really. RSL being good with the ball and creating chances and maybe finishing a few but being exposed on the counter and set pieces. So the should be fine against LAFC with Son and Bouanga?

Lots of rust for both sides but I think RSL comes out and plays well. It is on the road against a club that they fans will probably be more than ready to cheer on so stadium atmosphere will be off the charts.

Not necessarily expecting a win or result but more curious to see how RSL comes out from the break. Win or lose expecting a lot of positives from the Claret and Cobalt.

I’m expecting RSL to turn Son’s goal scoring drought around.

LAFC plays tonight, against the Galaxy on the main Fox channel (and Apple+ of course).

He scored last night, so we can just help the trend along.

Pre World Cup break this initial run of games looked like one where rsl could do something

lafc and Portland both went on the road and tore apart their rivals. St. Louis beat an (admittedly bad) SKC. So…

    Welp
    Officially back to this
Hope the hangover isn’t too bad and that the league did enough to grab casual fans from the tournament.

LAFC looked more like their old selves against the galaxy. Granted, that game is typically not one to measure either team truly by. I think rsl struggles with LAFCs pace and loses 2-1 or 3-1, unfortunately

I'm in SLC for a few nights. Is there a watch party for this one or the one on Saturday?

The Beer Bar is a staple for catching the games if you are downtown.

The Break is where @goobx1 and random fan pod have been inviting everyone lately.

I note that Marczuk wasn't on the gameday roster against Burnley and isn't again here against LAFC. With Saba signed, seems likely his time with RSL is up this window.

That's a pretty shot from Guilavogi. But we'd sure like to be able to say "pretty goal" about his shots more often.

Has dunseth lost the ability to just commentate? Everything feels rehearsed and like he’s trying to have a sound bite

Comparing to the World Cup is incredibly unfair, but the speed of play and off ball involvement has never felt so prevalent as it does right now
