"As part of the arrangement, French officials will visit the sites of MLS teams to review youth academy procedures, and help coaches qualify for elite coaching licenses"

Overheard soon after by one of those French officials..."Obetz? That's not too far from New York, right?"

The FFF's first youth partnership was with the Rush soccer club this past year (Jerome de Bontin- now GM of RBNY set up the partnership). there were 5-6 coaches from the French youth NT program who came for two weeks. very nice guys. worked with the U10 kids here in Colorado from what I heard and observed a lot of other games and practices. 7-8 Rush coaches went over to France late last year and toured the FFF facilities and took in some training sessions. Not sure what's in it for the FFF, but good for MLS coaches.

Qataris bought out the French for their WC vote, now France is sharing the love so we maybe shut up about how the Qataris bought their vote?

I hope that the coaches chosen from each club are contracted to stay for x years afterwards. Just seems to be a benefit to whichever coach is chosen than MLS itself.

Sacre bleu! Will our children be forced to eat snails, make love with their faces and have bad personal hygiene too?
