More than I got in Houston. Thats what I get for not fronting the deposit for my apartment to have the dish. And to have a local cableprovider that sucks.

I think this is a ridiculous idea! The MLS Final should stay in the US. I don't care how low the playoff attendance is.

They are talking about whether they will show MLS Cup final on TELEVISION in the UK. They are NOT talking about playing the game there!!!

I thought the final was going to be in NEW England.

My confusion aside, this is not such a bad idea. There are lots of soccer fans there and they might expect a fair number of curious spectators and "event" type fans. I know American football draws well there.

I don't think they are showing them @ all in the US outside of the local markets.

Uhh... perhaps because the lads asking the question live beyond the range of most ABC affiliates, places that other posters here might call "overseas".

It never fails, you don't idiot-proof your post with a winking face, and someone, somewhere calls you and idiot.

OK I have a hypothetical question for you, if the MLS Cup was held next Sunday in London. How many people do you think would show up? 1,000? 400? 5,000? What's your guess?

I missed the LA-KC game. Shocking. The one match I do miss and its 5-2.

I think Im going to the DC-Spurs thing. Is it an all-ticket affair?

D'you reckon theres a way we can bombard Chan5 with e-mails concerning the MLS coverage? Its shoddy at best. I might start sending 2 a day, like the guy did in the library on Shawshank Redemption.
