DeadlyStrike will host a MLS fantasy game this season for the first time. DS uses a head-to-head(H2H) system with a live draft to choose players. The first drafts are set to begin on March 17th. they have the points a defender can earn for a shutout marked differently in the rules section, it states that a defender earns 5 points for shutout... when i clicked on scoring in my league... it stated that defenders earn 3 points for a shutout other than that, looks cool
Thanks for joining. In the two previous leagues (EPL and Serie A) assist and defender shutouts were worth 3 points each. However if you look at the stats for these two leagues you will see most of the top players are forwards: http://www.deadlystrike.com/Cup/points.asp?leagueID=3 http://www.deadlystrike.com/Cup/points.asp?leagueID=4 With MLS, assist and defender shutouts will go from 3 to 5 points. This should help create a better balance between players.
