    Gang:

The MLS has allowed me to create a separate division for Wizards fans to compete in the MLS Fantasy Challenge, and the winner of this division (regardless of overall standing in the game) will receive a 2003 WIZARDS GAME JERSEY.

All you need to do is sign-up your team (or an extra team) at:

    http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/mls/fantasy/

And then put your team in the official division:

    Wizards 03

There is also talk that we'll offer the winner the ability to be a "GM for a Day" but this has not yet been confirmed. Setting up this team-specific division is just another way that the MLS and TSN want you to get excited about the 2003 season, and to build fan interest in our fantasy game and the MLS.

    1) I hate spam too. I'm just letting people know about another division, a Wizards division, where you have a chance to win a jersey. I thought it was cool that the league agreed to do this.

    2) We can't switch over to the existing Wizards division because we had to agree with the MLS as to a naming convention (team name 03) for all teams, as the teams are preparing promotional literature for these divs.

It appears that, just like last year, you are able to have multiple teams... so there's no reason why you can't participate in both.

When is The Sporting News going to actually start covering MLS in print?
