According to this source... Major League Soccer are exploring the possibility of playing several high profile matches in England. DC United expected to take part in the opening game at a large stadium. They have been encouraged by the recent success of @NFLUK games. #MLS #MLSUK— Martin Cockshaw #FBPE (@martincockshaw) November 4, 2018
Yeah...I'm going to need to see it from some other source. Reading that guys Twitter thread is a hodgepodge of "sources say", self-aggrandizement, and questionable liberal comments (and I consider myself a liberal). Not saying he's wrong, but he's clearly not an unbiased commentor and I want to know more before I buy the story.
To which I responded ... With any luck, they'll be able to get soccer to catch on in England. https://t.co/GbQKdIAuN5— Beau Dure 🇺🇦🌈🖖☮️ (@duresport) November 4, 2018
Hahahahahaha. I was wondering who would fall for that first. Unfortunately that person is one of a number of Leicester wind up accounts that are extremely tiresome. Try looking at the header on his twitter feed.......
what it is more absurd is the DC United mention. DC United?, with a new Stadium? San Jose does it, but more of a tradition long before their new stadium. DC United doesn't have that history of big stadium games.
