Who will be the "other" city?

    Houston
    Philly
    Milwaukee
    Cleveland
    Seattle
    St. Louis
    Vancouver

The next MLS team will be a Chivas-like team, catering to Hispanics, playing in either Bridgeview or Harrison. Write it down.

While I think Milwaukee would be a great addition to MLS, if one team is going to be Toronto in the next round of expansion, I'd prefer the other team to be in a huge American market, thats why I'd prefer Philadelphia, Houston or Detroit.

Detroit would rock, because they'd be a natural rival to the Toronto team.

Since Seattle already has followed Toronto,
from the first list probably Philly would work, for population support and viability.

But I think MONTREAL would be a fantastic choice.
Not only would it be viable and a great success,
but it would add so much because it is Montreal,
and rivalries would be naturally Toronto, Boston and New York.

i think some canadian posters just search for the word expansion or something, so they can chime in about how great it would be to get more canadian cities in.

Montreal. I don't if you guys followed the Gillet/Saputo thing, but they're very close to an agreement, plus Saputo built a brand new stadium, which need a very small extension to be withing the MLS rules. I can't wait.

All will follow Toronto. But really, we know San Jose, Seattle and Philly and most likely STL but 2 interesting questions:

In 2010 TFC's exclusive contract with MLS teams in Canada ends...
but will the success of Toronto and possible other Canadian cities outweigh MLS focus on finally capitalizing in NY and Florida?

Why would the word "excellent" be censored?

In my humble opinion, Las Vegas would be a great market for an MLS team. Maybe not this round of expansions, but the next. There are tons of soccer fans here.

no offense to any candians but this is the mls. teams should be in the usa. i dont even like that there is a team in toronto. we all know seattle and philly but i wouldnt be surprised to see a team in cleveland soon or even another one in new york. i deffentally think cleveland would support the team since we have one of the best usl teams. and we all miss the cleveland crunch/force.:(

Out of all the threads I started, I never thought this would be the one that just wouldn't die. Mods, do I get some sort of award or something? Banishment for life? Anything?
