Seans on the money. It's all about Yves. I forget, how do you pronounce Yves?

Question is, all-time, or players currently in the league?

    ..................Howard

    .....Reyes - Bo - Agoos - Victorine

    Olsen - Mulrooney - Mastroeni - Beasley

    ............Mathis - Donovan

    Subs: E. Robinson :D, Vaca, E. Johnson

Hmm. Only 3 international starters and 1 sub. I guess I'm a big USA fan! :D

Agoos: Because he's a dam good defender.
Victorine: A little lazy, but I couldn't think of a left back for the life of me (Corralles and Barrett excluded).

You know what, you call yourself a Quake fan but it doesn't appear that you really are!

Goose is an awesome defender. A legend to both the MLS and US soccer.

If you really are a Quake fan you'd learn to get over that stupid goal a long time ago! Mistakes happen! It didn't cost the team the game. So get over it! One own goal doesn't a poor defender make.

So to be a fan of a team, you must love every player on that team unquestionably?

    I never said that! Holzkopf!!

But if you are a fan of a team you should at least appreciate what each player brings to the team. The contributions he has made. Bringing up that own goal was a low blow for a Quake fan to use against one of the best players to ever be on the team.

    Mach'ne fliegel, GoHawks4!

I'm learning german for Germany 2006! Learning all the best stuff first! How'd I do?!

A stalwart MLS player, no doubt. San Jose's backbone in many ways. Internationally has been very good at times (Confed. Cup he was our best and was the glue that held us together). Had a horrendous W.C. obviously, and a few sketchy moments at the national level. Not a US "legend" but definitely has been of service on many occasions.

And a fellow J.J. Pearce graduate...

I agree Erin, absolutely and emphatically. I don't know what it is about Goose that makes certain people want to continually rag on him. Didn't he make some defensive error in WC qualifying around 1996, another mistake that we never heard the end of until this one came around? The guy is still one of the best players in US soccer even with that error.
