Micheal Harrington is one of the best LB's in the league and his career is still on the up, we are SET at LB with Harrington, of all the spots considering the starters age and talent level, LB might be the best off. He gets beat maybe once a game or so, but considering the number of times he has attackers running at him because C. Lopez was playing in front of him, that is very good. His ability to get forward and do work in tight situations is heads and shoulders better than any defender we have on our team....

I agree. Harrington had a chance to be a star and Onalfo really screwed that up by not keeping him in a position on the field. I thought he had great potential in the midfield due to his ability to run at players and hold the ball. It seems like he lost some of that being stuck in the back for most of last season.

He is an outside back and comfortable as such, not a midfielder, playinig out of posistion hurt his confidence which he did not regain until he was moved to his best posistion. He attributed/attributes more to attack from LB than he ever did/will from LM. From what I saw, it looked like he tried to force things when playing in the midfield.

I think the coverage has been getting better because smarter people (the folks at Ives, WV Hooligan, etc) are getting their voices heard. Better coverage means we have more (better?) info on the pool of players.

I don't follow college soccer, but based on what I've read it seems we can't go wrong with Tchani or Burnbury

Ives confirms: "No word yet on what Philly gave up for the No. 6, but I'm sure allocation money is invoilved.
Philly now has the No. 1, 6 and 7 picks. Wow. They will take Danny Mwanga first, and I know they covet Amobi Okugo. Who could go at No. 6? Corben Bone if he's still there. If not, I'd bet on Dilly Duka going to the Union."

So, we need to be wary of Philly... they are being run by intelligent people.

I'd take the 6th and 7th for the 4th if they want someone at that spot :)

As some one who has only read a bit of info from combines and player bios, I think my two first first picks, assuming availability, would be Bunbury and Stahl.

But in actuality, I have no idea what I'm talking about :|

How long do the teams get the rookies before they could go overseas? Is it 4 years?

For a transfer to another club/league? Yes it would have to be done with MLS

ESPN2 reports that Jimmy Conrad could be on the move today -- said we've received lots of calls about him.

Wasn't going to happen, Philly was definitely taking Mwanga, and Philly already has 2 players that appear to be their starting defenders.

No surprise, Mwanga goes number 1.

They had said it wasn't going to be live until closer to each of the Wizards picks I thought. It was going to be off the air in between our picks I thought.
