Sound off ... who do you want (RAPIDS FANS!) and why?

I'm going for DC ... why? Because I HATE Josh "I always try for the PK" Wolff ... and hope he gets a red for his diving!

Can't root for KC so I'll go for DC as well. I like the history of the club and Adu winning the championship in his first season will just make things perfect for Garber and the gang.

DC. For one, I'm moving there in a couple of months and if KSE doesn't get off their asses and field a team to compete and win it all, I won't have too many problems switching allegiances.

It's not that I don't love the Rapids, I'm just sick of following a team that hasn't made any concrete moves within the organization (not players, but organization) to improve and change. Hard to support an apathetic ownership group. Prove me wrong, KSE!!

We're on the same wavelength today. Josh Wolff is a diving b!tch and doesn't deserve to hold the Cup.

If it were LA in there instead of KC, you could substitute "Carlos Ruiz" for "Josh Wolff"... San Jose? Substitute "Landon Donovan".

I figure that, if it can't be the Rapids in there for the west (and it can't as long as the current management is around), then it may as well be a team from the east.

DC for me too. Davy Arnaud has had a great year, but I hate Josh's diving.
Make sure to vote for Joe http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/usa

Moreno does not deserve it. Neither does Guevara.

Rooting for a good match more than anything, but I'd rather see DC win than KC, simply because of the fan support. If you watched the DC-NE game, you'd understand why.

I'm all for DC as well. The level of passion and support for DC United is what we should be striving for. It's up to KSE to field a team of players we can actually connect with, start getting people into the stadium other than damn soccer moms, and FIRE HANKINSON.

I am rooting for a good game.

There are good reasons to root for both of them. I like the fan passion displayed in DC and have enjoyed watching the team's play (for most of the season). KC has done an excellent job of player management and development, something that I wish we were better at.

There are reasons to root against both teams. Josh Wolfe (enough said). DC would them have the ability to start calling themselves the greatest, most winningest franchise and that just sucks when you look at our trophy cabinet.

While I dislike Josh Wolff for the above stated reason, I have to say I'd like to see KC win...

It seems like every year, we expect KC to falter, and they put together a slightly different package that makes them competitive. Who in the MLS guru class thought that KC would be as strong as they were without Preki? Who knew that Bo Oshoyni (who I am not sold on, but hey, that's just me) could step up and fill Meola's shoes in the net? Heck, who knew that Meola would continue to truck on and on and still be a force to be reckoned with? Etc., etc. They do it, and they do it without the fanfare of a Freddie Adu, and they don't seem to get every little thing they want ala DC, NY/NJ and LA.

I don't in general "root" for other teams, but I'd rather see KC win, sans a Josh Wolff dive, if only because I wish the Rapids were able to step up and put it together like KC has, despite injuries.

You will be welcomed with open arms to the dark side next year.

I think you'll find DC's support/passion for soccer will help counterbalance any homesickness you might feel for the rocky mountain air and the dearth of quality skiing in driving distance.

KC, first of all they aren't one of the stars of the league (Metros, DC, LA) and second, you thought Adu-mania was bad before "He led them back to the level of the great DC teams of old"?

Because of his reduced role, and coming off the bench, I don't think too many people are going to spin this as Adu created. Garber might, but more from the angle of, "Look a 15 year old Champion."

I'm sure the MLS brass is having a wet dream over the fact that Freddy is in the final..... I bet a lot of people who couldn't name 1 other player in the league will probably tune in just because they heard Freddy Adu was playing.
