OK, thanks to the team, the cost per-person is level at 10 a head. We might have to sneak in our own liquor to keep things reasonable.

Also, would you prefer a possibly cheaper breakfast with just a continental-syle (muffins, bagels, etc.) or a mid-range setup with eggs and sausage and biscuits and such?

I had to give an attendance estimate, so I said 150. This will enable them to set up accordingly.

Now, the big issue. Though there will be wristbands sold at the door for entry, and it will cover costs, someone's got to pay the upfront money.

I would be more than willing but I don't have the money required.

If anyone can help out, email me immediately at jmurtau@luc.edu.

I predict that the fat and salt would aid in alcohol dispersion from the previous night.

I go for the eggs and sausage.

Bacon would be nice, too (yum).

I prefer this too, but god knows what Aramark will charge us for it. I wish the stupid person would call me back.

This sounds as if it may be getting too complex and not cost-effective too quickly. As an alternate plan, is there a local restaurant that we all might be able to meet at day of game ala Denny's or the like?

We're cool now. Start telling your friends.

    MLS Cup Prematch Breakfast
    10a - 12p PT
at the HDC (exact location TBD)

Menu to be determined, there will be a cash bar most likely, cost 10 dollars. No more, no less.

To be granted admission, you MUST WEAR RED.

Anyone not wearing red will not be admitted, the bouncer will be so instructed. Alcohol will not be allowed off the party premises.

    I just remembered.

I have to go to Will Call to pick up my tickets. Here's hoping they open on time (and the window is nearby).

The breakfast sounds great. It would be nice if they would let us bring along some champagne or beer for a pre match pint or three!

Any word on transportation to the bash on Saturday night. Unfortunately, my flight does not arrive until 5:15 pm. The Gala seems out of the question, but I really want to go to the bash. Anyone else arriving late afternoon, early evening?

I just remembered, perhaps it was mentioned earlier....

The 'SC vs UCLA game will be ending around 4 on Saturday. It's sold out so you can expect about 92,000 people trying to get out of LA and back home.

So there might be a little bit of traffic come time to go to the Gala...

(Oh and um, Fight on 'SC!) :D

And myself as well. Perhaps we should coordinate so we can get our tickets and make a quick exit via automobile for breakfast.
