So who on this board isn't rooting for New England? I heard the ownership group that has Big Hunt, Capitol Lounge and the Lucky Bar sold off The Rock. I was at the Lucky Bar yesterday watching the NFL (I had no idea that was a Steelers bar!) and was talking to the owner, who said that he constantly lost money at the Rock.
I know it's definitely the politically uncorrect thing to do for a DC fan, but LA has been a great team consistently. I think this will finally be their time.
Summers I was thinking of heading to Summers. I have a match at 9am, so I should be there in time. Is there a cover there, I have never been...
I don't care...LA are just the Scum of the West. They can fack orf for all I care...if they do win, it'll only be because DCU weren't there to rip them a new one.
Well, I may just as well go to Summers. Parking stinks anywhere near dupont circle. If DCU wants to supprise some United fans (hint, hint) they should show up at Summers.
Parking may be bad around my 'hood, but that's why we have Metro. The Red Line's Dupont Circle Metro stop (south exit) is less than a block from the Big Hunt. Hope to see ya'll there!
If you're thinking about Summers, I'd call before you go. They show a TON of NFL so make sure they can squeeze you in. ALSO: The party planners at the Big Hunt are aiming to show a tape of the Spurs game if people are interested. If you haven't RSVP-ed, please do. As someone who plans a lot of stuff it's really helpful to have a headcount when there's food involved. Have fun, look for the SEs on tv, we're behind the goal opposite the Fort. K
