I'm sorry, I know this thread is very premature, but I would like to go into Thursday's match with a game plan regarding MLS Cup tickets if we beat Columbus. (I'm actually going to be in LA anyways on the weekend of the final, so it's a no-brainer that I'm going if we make it). So does anyone know what the best way to obtain tickets to the final would be? Does the Fire give out a certain number of tickets to fans, like through Section 8? Or do we have to go through other parties like Ticketmaster or Stubhub? And in that case, is there a certain section that Fire fans are going to all sit in? Obviously I know next to nothing about this (possible) situation, so any info would definitely be appreciated. Thanks.
I would guess that there will be an allotment in which hopefully section 8 will be able to obtain from.....of course I'm sure we won't know numbers until next week.... Also, as I'm not on the board, this is pure speculation, I don't want to claim to know anything solidly...
There will be a specific number allotted to the teams that are going. Since the Chivas got bounced last night by Real, tickets will be plentiful through other means. MLSnet.com is selling individual tickets right now. But yeah, better to stand with your team's supporters than be somewhere with those casual fans who sit on their goddamn hands. (bitterly remembering who I was with at MLS Cup 2003) . . .
