Here's the (so far incomplete) assignments: Crew @ Revolution: CR - B. HALL SAR - TBD JAR - C. REED 4th - TBA Rapids @ Galaxy CR - K. TERRY SAR - C. STRICKLAND JAR - D. BRAGG 4th - TBA This probably ends any speculation that Hall is still less regarded as a domestic referee than he is an an international one. Overall, this has been a great year for him. Also, it seems to be that USSF/MLS are using a very small group of CRs and ARs for the playoffs as opposed to the last few years. It will be interesting to see if any CRs not used in the 1st round are used from here on out. And, I know it will eventually be a separate thread, but I imagine we could start speculating about the MLS Cup ref now. Terry, Hall, Kennedy and Stott seem to be the most highly regarded (insofar as assignments go) right now. I doubt Stott will get the Cup final again so soon. I'd go out on a limb and say Kennedy has a very good chance at the assignment right now, but then again, things could change.
Jeez, Kevin Terry is working every game. Of course thanks to MLS not bothering to have a good TV package I have only seen one playoff game so far, so I suppose it's hard for me to comment on who's doing a good job or not.
To CLB Fwds: Rearview mirrors recommended Omigod, Hall in the Center at the Razor! Look out Cowlumbus! Tell your forwards to beware Pierce's early chop(s) at the 18. Apparently he and Hall have some arrangement, judging from last years USOC semifinal. Hall's improvement would be a wonderful surprise. However, he hasn't got Colina around right now. Until then, ESAD, Hall! GM
Given all the uproar by some in another thread about Terry's "poor" performance in the CHI-NE game, I guess this is proof that the assessors didn't agree. He gets the very next assignment.
I'm sorry but as well as Hall did in J/K, the Crew is screwed. Everytime he refs their games, they lose.
