Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Sounds like a awsome group going....it is killing me not to go. I do have 4 tickets that I got a few weeks ago, but I have to go out of the country later in the week. They are in section 434 row 3, seats 1-4. Anyone want them, let me know. I just want to get face value ($45 each) and have a Dynamo fan get them. PM if you want them.....
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Spring Branch ISD is off starting on Wednesday, I think Katy ISD has a half day on Wednesday. And I believe Cy Fair is only off Thursday and Friday. Most of our Holiday days have gotten cut from the calendar due to them starting the school year later in August.
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? All I need to do is book my flight plan's AND SUPER DYNAMO NEEDS A PLACE TO STAY! Oh yeah by the way which airport is closest to RFK stadium?
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? If you're making the trip to DC, I have 4 tickets available (will also be sold in sets of 2) which are my regular season tickets just past the 30 yard line a little closer toward midfield (sec 204, row 13 -http://dcunited.mlsnet.com/t103/imgs/stadium/2007/seating_map.gif). Tickets are priced at $32.50 each which was my cost (and a little bit lower than public pricing b/c of my season ticket status). If interested, PM so we can work out shipping/payment, etc. Thanks, Rich
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] Southwest Airlines has roundtrip ticket for $244 right now that includes all fees and taxes. you must fly up sunday morning and fly back monday morning. it is a web special only.
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Houston ISD has classes on Monday and Tuesday of that week. I will be sick either Friday or Monday. Don't know yet.
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? this is a repost from another thread: Southwest Airlines has a roundtrip ticket leave houston early(in time for game) sunday and returning monday morning for just 244, all fees/taxes included...ACT QUICKLY
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? DCA - Reagan National Airport, I think it's the most convenient to fly into. F'ing awesome!
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] Flying into what airport? What time does it get in Sunday morning?!?
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] Leaves Houston Hobby At 6:50 Am Arrives 10:35 Into Baltimore Bwi
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] Ok, I found it....that enough time to get to the stadium and everything?!?
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] Actually i just realized the game starts at 11 am, i thought it was 2 pm....they would be too close for comfort.
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] It's pushing it. You'd get out of the airport at 1045ish and you'd have at least a 45 minute drive to RFK not including any traffic. I'm not entirely sure what traffic would be like on a Sunday morning since I don't drive around these parts but I'd go over to the DC boards and inquire before doing that. At worst you'd be a little late to the match, but I also can't imagine them starting right at 12.
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] Yeah, I think so. That is the only thing holding me back from going....got a wedding Saturday night and with game time so early....can't get a flight in there in time. ugh!
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] there is another one same price leaving sat nite, returning sunday nite! plenty of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] your right it's 11am local,,,,,,noon dc time.....that would give you 1:25 to get to the stadium....i'd go with the sat/sun flights
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Looks like I'll be going. I figure I make the trip from Livingston to Robertson all the time and a road trip up to Washington can't be that much further. Am I mistaken?
Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] I don't know DC, that's enough time to get to the stadium? If I am picking up tickets from the TA, I have to be there earlier right? Ugh! This is so frustrating. Why are there no flights after 7pm?!?

Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] If I buy a ticket from TA and then don't make it to the tailgate before everyone goes in....am I going to be screwed? Should I buy one from the MLS site?!?
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? I'm posting this here too...if I get a ticket through TA....and don't make it to the tailgate on time, am I going to be screwed? Should I buy a ticket through MLS?
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? DCA (National) and RFK are both on the same Metro lines. Here's more information for the Metro: http://www.wmata.com/
