Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? i'm in the same boat, getting in at 10:30am to BWI (30+ miles away), have a friend with a car picking me up so hopefully we'll get there in time. but do you guys plan to go in early or stay out tailgating close to noon? I plan to buy 4-6 tickets from TA tomorrow.

Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Here is the Senor Cool plan. Thursday--Ride with assistant coach to San Antonio for High School Soccer Coaches Convention. Get really drunk Thursday and Friday night. Saturday, get on SWA flight to Baltimore and arrive at 9:30 (CougarClaws better be picking me up from the airport and not leaving me there again) Sunday--Watch our boys win the MLS Cup and enjoy watching Monty wear my Dynamo jersey for the second year in a row. Sunday night--Take the 8:00 flight from Baltimore and get back into Houston. That flight is starting to sound like a team flight. You think the pilots and flight attendents will let us sing and chant on the plane!
Re: Who is planning on going to DC for the Cup? Possibly, but studying up on Greek Mythology is a great way to get your mind into the gutter (the Greek gods were some really freaky people) so you could kill two birds with one stone.

Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] No. It will take you 20 minutes from landing to get to BWI Amtrak Station (deplane, walk terminal, wait for bus to Amtrak station). You will miss the 10:50 train to DC, so that means the 11:25. That put you at DC's Union Station at 11:50, then on to RFK at about 12:10 or so. Then 15 minutes to get in the stadium.

Dutka, I'll PM later in the week when we figure out our plans on cars and stuff. if someone knows their going to be staying out at the tailgate and going in just before the game and could hold our tickets that would be great.

Re: Pre-Game Thread: 11/18 MLS Cup 2007 [Rs] YOu will not make it to RFK from BWI in an hour and a half using public trnasportation. If you know someone that lives in the area, you could make it in a car from BWI to RFK in 45 minutes, no problems. Straight down the Baltimore - Washington parkway. You could look into the SuperShuttle, they pick you up from any airport and drop you off at your house for 50 bucks. Sure they would take you to RFK.
