    Hello all ...

This is just an FYI for everyone who normally tailgates with the Riders.

The tailgate area has been moved for the MLS Cup, allowing the Riders to have more space so that fans from other groups may join us. Our normal lot will not be open to us as it will be used by employees and MLS staff.

The problem is that nothing is finalized yet, except that we won't be in our normal lot. It sounds like we will be in Lot P2, but that again is also not finalized. We are working on trying to get this solved ASAP.

Okay, as usual, there's been a change of plans (I know, everyone's surprised).

The Revs have now informed us that we will be allowed to park in the normal spot we do after all. BUT ... we will be tailgating on the grass area on the cart path that falls to the left of the soccer celebration area. It will of course be interesting how long it will take before security kicks us out of there.

We are not being allowed to tailgate where the cars are parked due to the severe congestion they're expecting.

ALSO: they will not be saving spots for Riders. So please try and get to the stadium early so that we can try and save some ourselves both for our group as well as other from out of town.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Just reiterating what Monty said, this new information has been confirmed by Revs staff.

$25.00 for all parking in stadium lots

    Bill:

Just FYI: Zawadski has posted this elsewhere, but I've also confirmed with my marketing "handler"... parking in all stadium lots will be $25.00, no exceptions unless you're a bus or a limo, for which I have no idea what they'll charge.

I also confirmed that general (non-Rider) Center Circle Parking will remain in the same lot its been all season.

Question for Magpie and Monty, et al.:
I don't park with the Riders...
Do we know how they'll handle tailgating through the other lot areas??? That grass lot isn't big enough to handle everyone... barely enough for the Riders alone.

Just out of curiosity- aren't they running a train to this event? And if they are- isn't the cart path also the "main access path" to/from the train?
If all the answers to the above are "yes"- it seems highly likely that there will be "issues" with parking lot security when people are now setting up chairs,
grills, tables etc- along the path??

I am so glad I bought the parking passes for the season, and since teh Rev FO screwed it up on me I got all the games for $99 dollars a savings of $151

    Jon,

The tailgating will not be set up along the path, but, rather on the grassy-area immediately to the left of the soccer celebration-area (with the stadium being on the right.) that's just beyond the path from the train.

In the following image I'm assuming it's the "triangle" just below where it says "entrance for spectators" and to the right of where it says "unpaved lot closed"

Thanks for the wakeup call about parking passes. With the playoff cash parking I totally forgot that I had a parking pass left. Although I didn't get the deal that revsrock got, it's still much nicer to hand that coupon rather than forking over $25.

$15 parking I think is already robbing the fans, now is $25????

Is there a train to Foxboro?

About 10 mins. The "station" is on the edge of the parking lot.

    FYI

Not to quibble, but 10 mins on crutches... about 4 for the rest of us... only about 300 yards from the gate.

    Riders Tailgate

Reminder to the locals: we'll have lots of visiting supporters at our Midnight Riders tailgate, so we'll need every grill fired up. Also, if you are so inclined, bring a little extra to share with our visitors.

The tailgate will be somewhat in the same location as usual, except not with the cars, on the grass. See Weber King's & Magpie's posts in this thread for the exact location.

    See you there!
