Well, there was NO chance of having to cross a picket line there! Chico, Paul will let you and everyone know when will call opens. K
Frontier Airlines just posted a 3 day special: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA--NOVEMBER 9, 2004-- For 3 days only, Frontier Airlines has reduced fares from Southern California by up to 33%. Travel is even valid to popular destinations such as New York, Washington D.C. and Florida. Sample Fares (each way): Los Angeles-Kansas City ... $69 Los Angeles-Philadelphia ... $74 Orange County-Baltimore ... $99 San Diego-Denver ... $99 San Diego-Chicago ... $99 Los Angeles-New York ... $99 San Diego-Washington D.C. ... $119 http://www.frontierairlines.com/3daysale/lax.asp Don't know if you'll get it but worth a try. OC is easier in and out and HDC is between both.
I posted a similiar deal through Air Tran on another thread (on sale today only) leaves Sunday-return on Mon, funky times and not non stop but with less than a week you can't be too choosy. www.airtran.com Also I think ATA is also running something similiar (came up on sidestep.com K
Man, I cannot wait for this!!! I do have a simple request. Jan has this condition which really prevents her from standing for the full 90 minutes. Do ya think people in the section would accomodate her so she can get a seat in the front row so she can see, regardless of which row our tickets are actually in? Thanks in advance.
I might be able to pull this off. Looks like the hotel is 10 miles from the stadium. Is everybody just renting a car?
Knave Unstick on Friday. We'll be heading out of town by then and people will have to make their own arrangements. K
Check out Yahoo Travel, they had several red eyes on Sunday in air/hotel packages. It ended up being a bit cheaper this way.
We're up over 80 tickets sold just by the SEs alone, and apparently some folks have contacted the Galaxy directly to set up their own thing with us. We should be well into triple digits on Sunday.
I know that 80+ tickets is a very good number especially given how expensive it is to fly to LA and how hard it is for people to be back at work on Monday (I knew of at least 20-30 people who would go if they could afford it) but at the same time I am a little dissapointed we will not sell out the section and then some.
Well, how many people fit into the section? Chicago sold out most of their section last year. Plus add on another hundred for the Rimando clan.
So the U-20 women's national team will be sitting with us then!!! YEAH! Oh wait, did my wife see that? Crap. Tim
Chico will be recruiting strippers Friday and Saturday night it's a hard job but someone has to do it
