MLS Cup: Dallas vs Colorado. Who will you support and why?

The fact that he's a Jesus freak, born again Christian has always rubbed me the wrong way. Also he's a terrible soccer player.

 

Rooting for Dallas largely due to MLS Cup 07 (I do remember Rapid fans being with us as well), but also for the support Dana has given to Riptide and the Breakers.

 

What does that matter? Aidan Brown was a Christian Scientist, Dan Calichman was Jewish, Alexi Lalas an atheist, and we have and had several Muslim players in the past. Matt Okoh played the drums with a Pentecostal ska band. Who cares?

Now the fact that he likes Nascar and spelled Steve Ralston's nickname the same way as a city in North Carolina, well, I guess you have a point then...

 

There is a reason that me and Dixon refer to him as "Wells Thompson, Revs Legend".

He also sent me a really nice message on Facebook for my birthday. I'm not going with him in the Rapture, but he's a cool guy. He didn't even mind the whole "With Wells Thompson" thing. Can you imagine "With Joe Franchino"...
